Musgravetown man stopped for possession of marihuana

RCMP found a resident of Musgravetown to be in possession of a quantity of marijhuana early this morning, Nov. 14.

The lone male driver was stopped by RCMP police on Baie Verte highway around 1:30 a.m. while enroute to the nearby of community of Seal Cove. A bag of marihuana was seized from the driver. Value of the seizure is aproximately $300.

The police investigation into the matter is ongoing.
