Most schools in Vista region closed for day

With the exception of Tricentia Academy, Arnold's Cove, all schools in the Vista Region remain closed for the rest of the day, due to road and weather conditions.

An overnight storm dumped about 10 cm of snow in the region. Although the snow has stopped, local roads are slushy and the cleanup continues.

According to www.theweathernetwork.com, Clarenville and the Bovavista Peninsula shouldn't be expecting any more snowfall for the next 24 hours.
