The Clarenville Area Recreation Association (CARA held its annual awards ceremonies Thursday, June 7 at the Clarenville Events Centre. Awards were presented for the junior female and male athletes of the year and the junior team of the year.

Also presented during the evening was the Peter S. Cholock Memorial award for male and female athlete of the year, the William T. Davis Memorial award for team of the year and the Leroy Miller Memorial award for sports builder. See full story in the next edition of the Packet
