Female arrested on drug charges

Clarenville RCMP arrested a female for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking after a routine traffic stop in the community on Friday, June 8. A quantity of cannabis marihuana was seized with a street value of approximately $2,000. The 26-year old female was released from custody to appear in court later in July.
