About $35,000 worth of mattresses were stolen from a Clarenville business over the weekend of June 9-11 and police are searching for the culprits.

The RCMP in Clarenville say the mattresses include 39, 54 and 60-inch sizes.

Police are asking people to be aware of anyone selling mattresses “outside the normal realm of everyday business.” Should individuals be found in possession of property which has been obtained by crime they, too, may be charged with a Criminal Code offence.

Anyone with information on this or any other matter are asked to contact the Clarenville RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
