Clarenville remembers

To honour members of the Newfoundland Regiment who were killed at the Battle of Beaumont Hamel, July 1, 1916, during World War 1, the Clarenville Canadian Legion Branch 27, and the Random 567 Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets, held a memorial service at the town's cenotaph this morning.

The last post sounded and a moment of silence was observed; followed by the laying of wreaths.
