The Department of Fisheries and Oceans is advising anglers that because of improved environmental conditions the following rivers on the west coast in Zone 14A and central zone 4 re-opened to angling one hour before sunrise today, July 20.

Zone 14A - Trout River, Lomand Main River, (East Arm Bonne Bay) including East Branch, Deer Arm River, Parsons Pond River and tributary streams, Portland Creek River, including Brian¹s Feeder, Portland Creek Feeder and tributary streams, River of Ponds, Spring Tilt Brook (below Spring Tilt Pond) and Big Gulch Brook, Little Brook Ponds and tributary streams, Torrent River and tributary streams, East River, Hawke's Bay.

Zone 4 - Northwest Arm Brook, Western Arm River, Leamington River, Charles Brook Bay of Exploits, Northern Arm River Bay of Exploits, Peter's River Bay of Exploits, Exploits River tributaries, tributaries below Grand Falls fishway, tributaries of the mid-Exploits from Grand Falls fishway to Red Indian Lake dam, main stem of mid-Exploits from Grand Falls fishway to Red Indian Lake dam, all Exploits watershed above Red Indian Lake dam, Rattling Brook.
