Clarenville RCMP arrested two males for impaired driving. Late last night a 47-year old male from Clarenville was arrested for impaired driving after the vehicle he was driving left the road. There were no injuries.

Earlier this morning Clarenville RCMP responded to another complaint of an impaired driver in the Clarenville area. A 27-year old from Hatchet Cove was arrested for impaired driving as well as resisting arrest, assault on a police officer and mischief when the window of the police can was broken out.

Both males will appear in Clarenville provincial court at a later date.
