While some managed to make it home with their umbrellas intact, this man, walking along Memorial Drive in Clarenville, was not so lucky. However, snapped power lines and overturned transport trucks, which have been reported in the St. John’s region, have not been the case in Clarenville, with winds gusts nudging 60 km/h and only light rains.
