King's Cove students get recognition

Academic Award winners in primary and elementary grades were: Bradley Mugford, Lauren O’Driscoll, Colby Quinton and Stephanie O’Driscoll. Nicholas Furlong also received an award. 1 width:500px;height:324px Receiving Positive Work Ethic awards in primary and elementary grades were, back row, Emily Keough, Kassidy Philpott and Kennedy Martin. In front are Carlee Ryan and Madison Philpott. 2 width:500px;height:413px Most Improved Awards were presented to high school students who raised their average the most in their grade from one year to another. Winners receiving awards from OCI representative Tym Duffett included Andrew Nichol, William Harty and Brandon Connors. 3 width:500px;height:245px Special awards were presented, including junior female Student of the Year to Kaitlin Mugford and senior male Student of the Year to Ryan Furlong who in addition received the first place Leadership and also Community/School Involvement. Winners were: Melissa Hobbs, 2nd place tie for Community/School Involvement; Jamie Mahoney, junior male Student of the Year; Cassandra Barker, 2nd place Leadership award; and Michelle Hobbs, 2nd place tie Community/School Involvement. Senior Female of the Year was Krista Fennell, who also placed third in Leadership. 4 width:500px;height:287px Ten of the 18 recent graduates came back to St. Mark’s School to receive their diplomas and awards. They were: Krista Fennell, Cody Barker, Melissa Hobbs, Katie Keough, Stacey Fleming, William Harty, Kelsey Keough, Michelle Hobbs, Stephen Abbott and Cassandra Guy. 5 width:500px;height:261px

Primary, elementary, high school students and graduates were recognized for their outstanding efforts during the 2010-2011 school year, when St. Mark’s All Grade School, King’s Cove held its annual awards day, Dec 19.
