Two students from region heading to Skills Canada Nationals

High school student Tyler Hiscock of Bishop White School in Port Rexton and Steamfitter/pipefitter apprentice Jerome Hynes of the Clarenville College of the North Atlantic campus are heading to Skills Canada National Competition.

The two students are part of 44 representatives from Newfoundland and Labrador heading to the 23rd annual national competition in Winnipeg, Man.
Hiscock is competing in the public speaking category, while Hynes is competing in steamfitting/pipefitting.
Skills Canada National Competition is the largest skilled trade and technology event in the country.
Hiscock and Hynes will join their fellow Team NL members in Winnipeg on May 31-June 3 for the competition.
