Did you enjoy the winter? Here at the Clarenville & Area Community
Youth Network we had lots of fun and enjoyed winter to its fullest!
In January, we were off to a great start and we incorporated a new program to our calendar: Snowshoeing!
The weather certainly cooperated and all the snow we got made our local trails perfect for this physical activity. A total of four sessions were offered and every session was followed by hot chocolate and healthy snacks — a perfect combination for recovering energy. Big thanks to our partners and sponsors for making this possible.
We got together in February to celebrate Valentine’s day. Arts and crafts, baking cookies and making cards were some of the activities planned for the month.
During the past month of March, the kids learned to make their own stress relief balls, healthy and nutritious granola bars, they also enjoyed a chocolate fondue; and the girls had a great and relaxing time at the Spa Day we offered them.
For the month of April, we have planned more fun activities such as swimming and Zumba. And for all of you who have no plans for Easter Break, what about coming to our centre? We will be open from 1-4:30 p.m. each day during the break.
We are also finalizing the details for our Summer program. Make sure you follow us on FB: Youthtube coordinator, and visit our website: www.youthtubecyn.com or call Youthtube: 466-7711 to find out all about it.
