ELLISTON— It's that time of year again.
Elliston's 20th annual Bird Island Puffin Festival kicks off this Sunday, July 16, and runs until next Sunday, July 23.
This year's festival will begin on the tail end of Elliston's 2017 come home year event, which will wrap up on Saturday.
But it's not the only party you can attend this weekend.
Arnold's Cove's Heritage Week, which kicked off this past Monday, continues right until Saturday night, when festivities will be concluded with a mummer's parade.

The English Harbour Art's Centre will also be opening a new exhibit this Saturday. "Alan Stein" is an exhibition of wood engraving illustrations from Michael Crummey's book of poems "Viewfinder". The exhibit opens with a reading of the poems by Michael Crummy at 3 pm. The exhibit is open until September 16.
