BONAVISTA, N.L. — An exciting string of Canada Day events in Bonavista marked the 151st anniversary of the nation, as the annual festivities saw plenty of residents enjoy a motorcade, games and ceremonies.
Beginning with brightly decorated vehicles in the motor parade, the official opening ceremony was then held at the Ryan Premises National Historic Site.
From there, the Mockbeggar Plantation played host to games, booths and even some four-legged friends, much to the delight of the children who came to celebrate and have some pony rides.
