The provincial government is inviting youth groups to apply to the 2018 Grants to Youth Organizations program.

The funding is earmarked to help community-based youth or youth-serving organizations throughout the province lead projects to engage youth in activities that encourage skill, knowledge and leadership development; improve partnerships and collaboration; and

fill a gap in services.

Successful applicants will have demonstrated how they will meet the criteria outlined. Up to $50,000 in project funding is potentially available to each successful applicant.

For more information or to apply, visit nlyouth.ca/ProgramsServices/GTYO.html.

The application deadline is Aug. 17.

Funding decisions will be announced after all applications have been received and assessed.
