Gordon Wheaton to appear in court again April 26

CLARENVILLE, NL— The man charged with making a threat, via email, against Riverside Elementary, has been denied bail.

Judge Paul Noble made the official decision this afternoon at Clarenville provincial court.

Gordon Wheaton, 45, was first arrested March 13 for allegedly uttering a threat against the Clarenville school.

He was released on bail that same afternoon, and later arrested that same night for allegedly breaking one of the conditions of his release.

He will appear in court again April 26.
