Glovertown man charged for going through car wash with dog in truck pan

Happy Valley-Goose Bay, N.L. – The RCMP in Happy Valley-Goose Bay have laid charges against a man for entering an automatic car wash in a pickup truck with a dog exposed in the pan.

Police received a call about incident shortly before 3 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon.

The 41-year-old, who is from Glovertown, is facing two charges under the Animal Protection Act.

They are causing an animal to be in distress and transporting an animal outside of a passenger compartment without being secured.

The dog was examined and was not injured.
