Once again this year on the anniversary of the Cougar Flight 491 tragedy, family members made the trek to the chain link fence at the former Cougar offices near St. John’s international Airport to remember their loved ones lost in the crash on March 12, 2009, when the chopper crashed out in the Atlantic Ocean. Only one of the 18 people on board — Robert Decker — survived. A memorial service is set for 7 p.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Anglican Church on Craigmillar Avenue in St. John’s.
