CLARENVILLE, NL — The Booster Juice team from Clarenville walked off the field at Hamilton, Ontario, recently with an unforgettable experience and a silver finish at this year’s National Slo-Pitch Athletics (NSA).

After round robin, the team stood first in the Male B division.

The team earned a double life to advance, then rebounded with a big win to land a spot in the

Men’s B National final, where they would have to win twice.

When the last out occurred, the Juice remained one run shy, of the championship. The final score was 18-17 but they were proud to leave with silver after competing against top Canadian slo-pitch teams.

Outfielder Jeremy Blundon summed it up this way, “It was an amazing feeling playing side by side with some of the best players in Canada. All of our players contributed and battled to the very end. Losing by one run in the final is tough, but it doesn't overshadow what we accomplished this weekend.”
