This year resolve to volunteer at CREST (Clarenville Region Extended Seniors’ Transportation). We are always looking for volunteers to join our team.

Your time commitment to CREST can be as little as one day per month. Available opportunities include drivers, assistants and booking.

For more information, contact the CREST office at 466-1114; drop by the Bill Davis Chalet between 10:30-2:30, Monday to Friday; call Larry Reid 427-2872 or Leo Bonnell 427-7824; or visit our website at randomagefriendly.com.

CREST is a partnership between the Town of Clarenville, Random Age-Friendly Communities, and Service Groups that is committed to providing appropriate and affordable transportation for people over age 60 and those over 25 who require the use of a wheelchair.

The pilot project was funded by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador. The service covers an area centered in Clarenville with approximately a 20-kilometre radius.

Presently, our volunteers come from Clarenville, Elliott’s Cove, Hillview, Hatchet Cove, and Musgravetown. Some live outside our service area and still continue to volunteer.
