Chapel Arm man suspended from driving in two provinces caught speeding

RCMP are searching for a man armed with a knife who broke into house in Marystown Friday night.


A 55-year-old man who was already suspended from driving in Newfoundland and Labrador and Ontario was pulled over for speeding in Chapel Arm on Tuesday, Nov. 27.

According to a RCMP release, police were conducting radar along Main Road in the community when they observed the man, who is from Chapel Arm, driving too fast.

The man was charged under the Highway Traffic Act. His vehicle was also towed and impounded for 30 days.
