The first Mega Millions jackpot winning ticket of 2024, worth $1.13 billion, was won in New Jersey on Tuesday night.
Winning numbers are 7, 11, 22, 29, 38, and Golden Mega Ball 4.
The $1.13 billion jackpot is the 5th largest prize in lottery history.
The new billionaire could receive $1.13 billion in annual payments, or an estimated one-time lump sum of $537.5 million.
Thirteen players — from California, Colorado, Florida (2), Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New York (2) and Ohio — matched all five white balls for the $1 million prize.
