Donald Trump Gets Barron’s Age Wrong in TV Interview

Former President Donald Trump misrepresented his son’s age in a television interview, saying his youngest son Barron Trump was 17 when he was 18.

Speaking on May 9 on the Miami-based Spanish-language network Telemundo 51, Trump was asked a question about his son Barron entering politics as a delegate from Florida to the upcoming Republican National Convention.

“He’s very young, I would say. He’s 17 years old,” Trump said in the interview. Barron Trump turned 18 in March.
