The preliminary inquiry scheduled for a Catalina man charged with two accounts of attempted murder and multiple counts of aggravated assault and assault with a weapon has been postponed.

The inquiry had been scheduled for Dec. 4-5. Since new disclosure has been provided, the inquiry was rescheduled to April 9-10.

The adjournment was made Thursday, Nov. 29 at provincial court in Clarenville.

Both men, including a third man who was also in the vehicle, were taken to hospital.

A second man, Kevin Allen, 37, is also facing charges of uttering threats and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose in connection with the event.

He has a plea day scheduled for Dec. 20.
